When you ask this question, most government agencies and travel agencies will tell you that you need passport-sized photos. This may be a confusing message because different countries have different photo specifications.

In fact, the Vietnamese immigration department doesn’t have strict requirements on the details of photos, but you still need to know the following rules:

Visa photos Requirements :

• The applicant’s face must be neutral and should not smile or frown;
• Photos must be taken within 6 months of application；
• Photos must be taken on a white background and printed on high-quality photo paper;
• Do not wear any glasses;
• Hats, scarves, and any other accessories are strictly prohibited and photos covering ears or forehead are not allowed.
